1 down......2 to go.....

We had our first Christmas, which was a great time at my parent's house this past weekend. It was so stinkin' cold in Wichita that we pretty much stayed at their house the entire time, except to go to church. I think it was 8 degrees when we left for church that morning! Mom cooked SO many yummy meals while we were there so we were stuffed the whole time, not to mention all the snacking we did between the meals. Jaylen really didn't care much for the gifts she got but loved all the boxes & wrapping paper, of course! Myra got a Wii for Christmas so we played a lot of MarioCart & Tiger Woods golf. Mom bought the girls several matching outfits so we took lots of pics of the girls together. I even made a jewelry holder while I was there. Funny thing is that my mom had almost everything I needed at her house, so I made the whole thing for about $3.00!

Mom put up the gate at the top of the stairs since both girls can get all over the place.....and quick! Jaylen did learn how to go backwards down the stairs while we were there too.
Jay got in some quality reading time with Grandpa...And Uncle Michael.....what can I say?......this girls LOVES books!
First matching outfits.....
2nd matching outfits.....

Read your Bible everyday & you'll grow, grow, grow!.......Jay loves that song.

Ready for church......not quite matching but close!Sweet girl....
Are these 2 going to be trouble in about 15 years or what?!

Jay slept almost the entire way home.....I think she was worn out from the fun weekend!

We're having our Christmas here with Jaylen Christmas morning & then heading to Lookeba to celebrate with Gavan's family over the weekend. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas holiday.

The girls both look so cute, and Mason agrees. While I was looking at your blog he said, "They are beautiful!" He might really think so one day!
