We enjoyed our Memorial Day with a busy day spent with friends. First we went to the zoo with the Pickers. It was hot but fun.....Jaylen ended up without her shorts on (diaper leaked out), we saw lots of animals including the "wrestling" turtles, enjoyed our lunch by the lake, fed the geese and got to ride the carousel. Once the carousel actually got started the girls really enjoyed it but they didn't like sitting there waiting for everyone to get on. Then we came home for a nap before we went to our cookout/pool party. Jaylen loved the water last summer but loves it even more now. She didn't like being in a life jacket or her boat for too long......she just wanted to kick her legs & splash in the water with Gavan. She's pretty fearless in the water so hopefully she'll learn to swim quickly! Overall, it was a great day!

Bailey misses Jaylen. :) It was great to see you this weekend. It looks like she had so much fun swimming. I'm jealous!
So..you do realize that our kids pretty much have the same b-days! Aspen was born Nov. 27th and Sydney was born Dec. 24th!!! Crazy how that works!! I have to say that having two is even better than one..I just love it so much! 25 months difference is awesome!!! I am happy for you!!!! Nan
