Problem....

Is anyone else having trouble or had trouble loading pictures to your blog? It says it loads & to click done but then on the blog its a bunch of letters & symbols & no picture. Anybody, anybody?!

Need recipes....

I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets tired of cooking their family the same 15 meals over & over again. I really need some new recipes & I'd love to hear from all my girlfriends. Tell me your top 3 favorite recipes you cook for your family & I'll collect some new ones! I thank you & I know Gavan will thank you too!

What are friends for.....

Thanks to Miranda & Jeffrey's switching of cell phone services, we are now the proud owners of 2 used Razor cell phones. Gavan has been using Jeffrey's for a while now due to an incident with the toilet....ask him about it! Mine just started turning certain texts into gibberish so now I'm using Miranda's old phone! I guess we should think about not taking the free phones next time we renew our contract! But hey, what are friends for?!

Weekend full of friends & babies....

Wow, this weekend was packed full of my friends & babies! My 3 best friends from college all got married within 2 months of each other a few years ago & now they all had their first babies within 2 months of each other! Yep, I was in 3 weddings & now I get to spoil the 3 babies! We were all in town this weekend (2 of us live here & 2 live out of state) and got to hang out & love on each other's babies. It was great seeing them but hard to believe that we all have kids now. Love you girls & your babies!

Doug & Dixie stayed with us Saturday night on their way through town so, as always, we had a great time. Ethan & Jaylen played together better this time too. They got to enjoy the pool & sandbox while we enjoyed burgers. With a house full of kids as well as Doug & Gavan always up to something, it was fun. Their trip was short but so glad they stopped over for the night!

I know I'm not the only one who fights the battle with pet hair lurking around their house....constantly. I'm pretty good about keeping it vacuumed up but since Paisley has been loosing her winter coat for the past month, or at least it feels that way, my rugs have been suffering. I just can't seem to get them completely clear of those pesky black hairs. But tonight at Lowes while we were waiting for some blinds to be cut, we roamed over by the vacuum section. I found an attachment that fits right onto your hose that swore it will pick up pet hair and dirt that is crushed way down into the carpet. I thought it probably wouldn't work but at this point I'm desperate & don't want to spend a fortune on a new, fancy-smancy vacuum. Needless to say, we bought it & I came home & fell in love with it! It actually works! I never enjoyed vacuuming my rugs like that before! So, if there are any of you out there who are threatening to get rid of their "Marleys", just go spend that $15.....it's worth it!

Aaaahhh, I can sleep better tonight knowing that my rugs are CLEAN, especially since we've got company coming!

6 years....

Yesterday, Gavan & I celebrated our 6 year anniversary. We had spent the weekend with my parents in Wichita so we were driving home yesterday. I got sick in the afternoon so then spent the entire night on the couch eating saltines & drinking sprite. What a lovely way to celebrate!

Oh how young we look....and skinny!

What an interesting road we've been on over the past 6 years but it's been great cause we've done it all together. Here's to another great year with a new addition to our family! Love you babe.
