Mel did very well all day Saturday, Saturday night, Sunday and Sunday night. She had very few contractions each day. Our doc returned from vacation today and we were very happy to speak with her. She started weaning Mel off the Magnesium in her IV a few hours ago. By Tuesday around noon if her body does okay she will be off the mag and on a pill (procardia). If the pill alone keeps her body from contracting she should be able to go home Tuesday evening or Wednesday. Dr. Huff said she's had patients come in like this, get on magnesium, go home and end up come in at 41 weeks and have to be induced. That's not the norm, but it is possible. Our first goal is to make 32 weeks, then shoot for 34. There's just no way to know how long our little girl will stay put but keep praying for several more weeks.
