3 days to go.....

We close & move in 3 days. Am I packed up yet? Yes.....pretty much! My mom came down Thursday & Friday to help me knock out the rest of stuff that needed packed up & it was much more that I thought needed it! But we got to it & got it done. Took our bed & spare bed apart today & will do Jaylen's tomorrow night. It's mattresses on the floor for us & the pac'n'play for Jay. We're getting the truck tomorrow night to start loading it & then will finish it Tuesday night other than pretty much our mattresses! We close at noon on Wednesday & then the fun really begins at the new house! Thank goodness for both our parents coming to help us out, not to mention my friends helping watch Jaylen! She's going to get some good playing in with her friends this week!

I have no pics to post since I've packed the cord to upload them with but have a couple cute ones of Jay "helping" mom & I pack this weekend on the camera. Off to jump in bed & read Twilight.....yes, I'm only 1/2 way through the first book....I'm a late starter.

6 days & counting....

We close & move in 6 days. Am I packed up yet? No.....but my mom is on her way here right now to help me tackle the last of it. There is still just so much stuff laying, hanging or sitting around that needs to find a home in a box & my box supply is running low. Good thing mom is bringing more boxes. She's awesome because I haven't had to get ANY boxes....she's gotten them all for me. She's the queen of raiding the grocery stores for them. The next 2 days will be full of packing up our life of 4 1/2 years in this house. Honestly, I'm going to be a bit sad when we leave for the last time on Wednesday. This was our first home, did a lot of work to it, brought Jaylen home to it & where she did all her "firsts" during her first year of life. I'm excited for the new house but still will be a little sad.

Since I've joined Facebook in the last week, I haven't quite yet figured out how to not forget about my blog & do FB too! It's so addicting......the reason I've stayed away from it this long. I'll figure it out & get a good balance though. If I'm not your friend yet, I'd love to be. :)

Jaylen gave me her respiratory junk that she had last week so I'm coughing, sneezing, blowing my nose, etc constantly but at least it's this week & not next week. Let's just hope its gone before we move. I guess I'm due an illness since I some how stayed healthy through the winter & all the nastiness that was going around.

My sweet little angel is 16 months today too! She's a walking & talking machine! Still can't believe she's this old & how much she learns each day. Her newest phrase is "I'm busy".....thanks Mom! Long awaited video.......need a laugh?

I think this is the longest I've gone between posts in quite a while. The last couple of weeks have been interesting but I'm back now & ready to blog! Since I'm in a bit of a blogging funk, I thought I'd share this video with you all. Many of you asked for it back around Thanksgiving but I'm just now getting it uploaded......sad, I know. It was a lot of fun to do & I know it will bring lots of laughter to many people.

Just to preface this video.....my mom's side of our family gets together every other Thanksgiving & celebrate with a themed party. This year it was in Minnesota & it was a 50's theme. My mom made us all poodle skirts & everything. We always have a talent show, which is fun. Normally, I don't participate but I had this idea to do the Evolution of Dance. Katie & I roped our husbands into doing it with us. We had all of 2 practices in our living room with the girls crawling all around us. It was quite a site & more work than you think. We had about 40 people at the party so that is where all the yelling & laughing is coming from on the video. My family is a little crazy.
