Creature of Change

Ok, so I've only had my blog for like a month or something and I've already changed the template. I get bored with things easily so I'm always up for a change. Just like my purses. I would change each week if I could. We'll see how long this template lasts. So, I thought it was supposed to rain everyday this week & we were supposed to get 4-6 inches or rain! Just like we were supposed to get like 10 inches of snow several months ago. It's so gloomy, I wish it would just downpour and get it overwith. So, more March Madness tonight. I'm ready to highlight more wins on my bracket. Gavan and I have a friendly wager going on our brackets. So far, I'm ahead but anything could happen! Is a new "Grey's" on tonight? I hope so! I miss Alex (my secret crush)! Did you know that he is married and has like 6 kids with his wife? Wow.

Gotta love yard work

Well, we spent pretty much all day Saturday working out in the yard. We raked up more leaves, cleaned up some flower beds, put down lots of mulch and filled my window baskets with flowers. We still want to do a little more but it was a good start. We've been dog-sitting for Jeffrey & Miranda's morkie, Cooper since Friday evening. It has been interesting. First, I forgot what it was like to have a puppy around again. He doesn't sit still very often! Secondly, I felt like I had 2 kids out in the yard while I was working cause Paisley & Cooper wanted to "play" with each other but kept getting in little fights. They just aren't the right size to play together. It's gotten better and I think they'll be friends for a long time now! It's been fun & he's gotten pretty good at going "potty" outside. Oh my the weather was nice Friday night. We finally hung a swing we bought on our honeymoon (almost 4 years ago). It's like a hamock but you sit up in it like a chair. We should of put it up a long time ago. Come by and swing sometime!

Our trip to Little Rock

Gavan & I left Thursday evening and drove to Little Rock to see our good friends, the Gunselmans. Doug and Dixie have a 3 mth old little boy, Ethan. We had a great time and great weather while we were there. We got to watch Doug coach 2 baseball games. It's pretty weird to see him in such a serious setting. We walked on the "World's Largest Pedestrian Bridge" that crosses the Arkansas River. It was huge! There were men fishing on the dam beneath it. They were using deep sea fishing poles and catching huge fish. They were pretty entertaining. Doug & Gavan played a round of golf and had an interesting experience which involved a really large man accusing them of stealing his putter! When the guy left he still believed that they stole it, which they didn't. He must of left it on a green somewhere on the course. We loved spending time with them, especially Ethan! He's such a cuddly little guy. We're home safe now but don't want to think about tomorrow being Monday! Here are some pics from the weekend. Enjoy!

My beautiful neice

I got to see my sweet neice today. This is a picture of Dayona and she is almost 2 months old. We already have 4 nephews from Gavan's oldest brother but this is our first neice from his other brother. I got to hold her and put her to sleep this afternoon. She is so sweet but will let you know when she is hungry or wants some attention! She was born with all of that dark hair and hasn't lost much of it. She will always have a special place in Gavan & I's hearts, as we will always think of our little Faith being her same age. We love you, Dayona.

To sell or not to sell, that is the question

I've been a little preoccupied lately, as you can tell by the title of this post. We're debating whether to move to a bigger house or not. We're so torn but feel like it would be good for us. We're going to look at a few houses tomorrow night, so we'll see. I know it's always cheaper to stay put but it's so fun looking an buying something new. I love change and I can't help it either! Other than that, not much else is new with me. I can't believe March started today. This year is flying by already. Today is Paisley's birthday and she's a wopping 2 years old. I'll have to go buy her a huge bone! Enjoy the beautiful weather!
